Describe DNA backbone if purines paired with purines and pyrimidines only paired with pyrimidines? HELp!?

how would deoxyribose sugar phosphate backbone of nucloide chains look if purines only paired with purines and pyrimidines paired only with pyrimidines? Please help me i reread the book 10 times and I can't find the answer. Your help is appreciated!
