Do you think my girlfriend is over reacting?

I am 24 years old. I didn't start drinking ANY alcohol until I was 22. Now, (together) we started trying different wines and such. It was her idea, and turns out, I like wine! Anyway, at first she enjoyed drinking with me about once every 2-3 days, at night with dinner and such, but now she is weary. She doesn't like it when I drink wine or buy champagne for dinner. Even if I have 1 gl. She says it's too much. I think it's due to the fact that her father is an alcoholic. I understand her reaction and I stopped, but sometimes I'm a little bummed out because sometimes I just want to cut loose with her and enjoy a Friday night. We've been dating for 5 years. Because I love her, I will do anything that makes her happy, but just out of curiosity, is she maybe over reacting? BTW, I have NEVER gotten drunk enough to throw up, or anything like that. I had my very first drink with her and anytime I've EVER been "tipsy" or "drunk" was ONLY with her. Not even with my guy friends.
