How to structure a college essay?

The 5 paragraph form is the basic college format. MLA style is a standard format. Google how to set up your paper in MLA(Modern Language ociation). You should have your intro(at the end of your intro, state your main idea, or thesis) 3(or more depending on length) body paragraphs, and at the end of each paragraph, your last sentence should introduce your next topic. In your conclusion, tie things up, and restate your thesis. Remember, throughout your body paragraphs, you should be explaining why your thesis is accurate. As for the length of your paper, that's up to your professor. He should state a page or a word requirement. There are typically 300 words on a standard 12 font, double spaced microsoft word doent, or one handwritten notebook page.
