Do you think my chihuahua might dislike me because I left her alone as a puppy in a (large) bathroom)?

When my chihuahua was only a few months old, maybe 4-6 months, I'd be forced to leave her locked up in a bathroom (a large one... big walkin closet, a lot of open space etc), for hours at a time while I went to school. This was for her own safety since she tended to climb things and would get stuck as well as a big cat that was rather mean that lived in the house. I'd hear her whimper and it tore me apart to do it but now she really doesn't show me very much affection.. I"m sort of the "last resort" if my parents aren't home. Do you think she doesn't like me because of this?
