No you Should not wear your spikes during practice they are made to run in and get them off your feet. they will cause you to get shin splints which are very painful just get some running shoes and keep those spikes for meets or late season. i say late season because by then the training isnt as lengthy and you can wear them. taking the spikes out will not help thats not the problem the problem is the support it gives your feet and how much strain will it cause to your shin
