i think its fine to keep dogs since they love being people but its completely different for caged animals because theyre completely stripped of all freedom which makes me feel horrible because i have 30 rats in cages and theyre mostly rescues.. at first i thought they were really lucky being my pets because theyre in reallly big cages, have lots of toys and even better-loads of friends!but recently ive noticed a lot of them lying doing nothing all day, just being really bored and miserable and ive starting thinking they hate life and its all my fault.i tell myself wild rats dont have it much better cuz they have freedom but chances are theyll end up in glue traps and get left there to die slowly but pet rats dont have that problem so i guess in a way im protecting them but im still scared they hate me. :(

My fish tanks' pH level is really high?

Stop using chemicals. It is much healthier for fish to adjust to a high ph than to try and change the ph. If it is really an issue, you need to look at what is causing it. What kind of rock? Why do you have pink gravel? (not related to ph just why...? haha). If you want to lower it, the best way is natural. Driftwood and peat moss are both known to lower the ph.

I really hate to be critical, but this needs a lot of work. For one, you really need someone to double check your grammar issues. There are some major problems here. Try reading it out loud to yourself, it really helps. Also, there is no real explanation of what it is you are trying to convey. The sentences sound choppy and it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. This sounds more like you are reading an outline of what you want to write about. I love the fact that you are writing for your school paper; however, you need to give this a little more time. Research your topic deeper, and see what you come up with. This is a great start, and I am sure with some more hard work you will make it perfection!

Can My computer still run champions online?

This is a tricky thing and it kicked my one time. Be sure your system meets EVERY requirement. I wasn't able to play a $40 game a few years ago because my graphics card did not support shader model 1.0 and the whole installation failed. And the worst part was that it was a laptop, which means I could not upgrade video cards. My point is, you should probably get a better graphics card which supports a higher shader model (uming you have a desktop). 9 times out of 10, this game will not install properly on your system if you don't upgrade.

I get my braces off in exactly one week today. I'm excited, but also kind of nervous. I've honestly forgotten what life was like without braces. I've had them on for 3 1/2 years. I've heard the process to get them off goes a lot faster if you've had them on for a lot longer than normal. First of all...I'm worried about if there will be any pain. I'm usually pretty good about dental work. I don't mind the fluoride mold things, or the drills etc. Is it at all painful or uncomfortable? Also, I'm worried that there will be stains on my teeth. I don't floss, but I do brush my teeth twice a day everyday. Will this be enough? I don't drink coffee, and I drink, at the most, 6 cans of pop in a month, sometimes a lot less. What can be done if they do stain? How long does it take to brush away the stain? Or do you have to get your teeth whitened? And also, I haven't told anyone I'm getting my braces of except for my family....cont.

i'm guessing the two of you are about 15-17yrs. old? any who... you do sound mature and hopefully your friend is mature enough to listen to you. my suggestion is to be open and honest with your friend. tell you truly look at her as a sister more so than just a best friend. then explain to her that you understand and appreciate the fact that she has a life outside of your friendship but you need to have you and her time and not so much you, her and what ever issues she's going through with her b/f. maybe in a light but honest way let her know that if she continues to ignore the fact that you need her (advice or just a listening ear) that when she starts in on the she and her b/f saga, you're either going to ignore her until she gets it and stops or you'll get with her when she can concentrate on the two of you and what's going on at the time with you two. again let her know that you're not trying to be mean or insensitive to her issues, you just can't get absorbed in all her personal issues with the b/f. maybe she doesn't realize she does it so much. but it sounds like it's bothering you so you should be heard and continue being sisters/friends. hope it helps. good luck

It could be implantation cramps but there is no true way to tell. Some women test early and 10 dpo is not a bad time to test. If you do get a negative at 10 dpo, your body may not be producing enough HCG at that point and you should retest a few days later. I would say take a test when you are ready to. It does sound promising but it could also be nothing. Some women take longer to implant, anywhere from 6-10 and some even longer. I was one that took a little longer!

The worst match-up in this set is #6: Demi and Mandy. I can just see that as an accident waiting to happen. I have good credit, never made a late payment and always make atleast my minimum payments, and then some. I recently consolidated some credit card debt and some of my fiance's debt with a $30,000 private loan which we pay together. Then I have about $20,000 worth of debt in consolidated student loans, car loan and some store credit cards from home related items (tv, furniture, etc.)purchased with 0% or low financing. All of my debt and most of my fiance's is in my name because his credit was too bad to get any loans, etc. So even though it's all in my name, we have no problem making payments each month since there are 2 of us paying. But as we work on getting his credit in line for him to one day be a co-signer for a house, what can we do to get my credit up seeings how I have so much of my credit tied up for the both of us? In order to boot it up, you need to go the BIOS and set your CD-ROM as the first priority and then put the CD into your computer and before the blue screen appears, it should say "press any key to boot from cd." If that doesn't show up then that would mean that your windows xp disk isn't bootable and would need to get a newer windows xp disk that is newer which then that would be able to be bootable. To us, it only makes sense that something may be out there where we can't see. The only down side, is there is no way to be 100% certain. If you see an "act of God" you may see it as that, or you may question if your subconscious presented the event to you in that light to give you comfort in your beliefs. Faith is a tricky thing... There's no logical way of going about figuring yours out. It's all chance and what you feel in your heart. Every belief is just an alternate path to the same answers, so you can't go wrong.

I used to work for a letting agent who recently closed the office where I worked and sold the property stock to another agent. I resigned before the transfer went through and have since set up as an independent letting agent. Some of my old clients have recently contacted me asking me to take over managing their properties as they are not happy with the service they are receiving from the agent they were 'sold' to. This agent has contacted my ex-employer accusing me of enticing business away from them and I have received a letter from ex-employer's solicitors reminding me of the covenants in my employment contract with them. They have made specific reference to the fact that I am not allowed to solicit business from my old clients nor am I allowed to compete with them. This would be fair enough if they were still trading but their closest office is now 40 miles away and the clients I used to deal with are no longer their clients but the clients of the other agent. I have been informed by their solicitors that my ex-employer has come to a financial agreement with the new agent whereby they continue to receive income for all the properties the new agent keeps for the next 18 months. Losing properties to me (or any other agent for that matter) will apparently cause my previous employer to lose money and therefore gives them the right to restrict my trade. Are they allowed to do this and can it be enforced, given that these clients have contacted me of their own free will, they are no longer clients of my ex-employer, my ex-employer closed their office in my town, and any agreement they may have reached with the agent they sold the property stock to is nothing to do with me as I never worked for them or signed anything agreeing to be restricted by them. I've always lived in a suburban type area and our house and yards were always well kempt. I have black neighbors in my apartment and they're the only ones that seem to leave their trash laying around outside of near my apartment door and the said part is we live in a decent neighborhood. I'm flying over Japan from America to Korea. I'm not asking if Korea is safe. I'm asking if people inside the Boeing 747 while flying over pacific ocean for 15 hours are relatively safe. I understand pengers are exposed to natural radiation from space anyway, but I don't want additional radiation exposure from Fukushima plant. The route map from the airline I'm flying shows the airplane flying over 180 km from Fukushima nuclear plant. I'm not sure how heavy or light the radioactive isotopes are. How high it will travel, etc. Obviously, it's dangerous enough for govt's to issue no fly zone. 180km where I'll be flying over doesn't seem far enough. 30 month old having trouble sleeping?

We need some help, my oldest son use to sleep with no trouble. We could lay him bed after book time say our prayers and leave the room and he would sleep Though the night. After a trip to the Midwest, mommy returning back to work from maternity leave and a surprise removal of a pacifier this is no longer the case. Now he takes a little longer to initially go down which is fine, but he will wake though out the night crying and screaming for mommy. If I dare go up he is very aggressive wanting to hit, spit, slap, and bite me. She can get him calmed down and back to bed for another hour if we are lucky but he is soon to rise with the same effect. I have no idea where to go with this. I am hoping it is just a phase but so far it has been pretty painful for me and my wife plus we hate seeing him go though this.

I have a few friends in this situation. The mom relinquished parental rights of the father. The father is still entitled to child support. Why is this so? If a person can't see their kids or have an active role, why is monetary support still requested. When it comes to electrical outlets, what does "Open Ground" mean? I got this reading with a tester i bought.?

The reason i ask is because of a few incidents that happened in my new apt that i just moved to. I connected my lcd tv to the wall, then i plugged my playstation 3 to the same outlet just the lower one. When i did this nothing happened everything was fine, then i called for my cable, when the cable man came to install the box up, i had disconnected my PS3 from the wall and the back of the tv, i had it with the HDMI plug, he used that plug to connect the box with, but keep in mind nothing was connected to the wall when he installed it. When he turned it on it turned on fine, both box and tv. after he left i disconnected the box, and connected my PS3 again using the same HDMI plug. the next day i bought myself another HDMI plug for the box, after getting back to my apt. i went to connect the box to the back of my tv on the 2nd HDMI input, my platstaion 3 was connected to the HDMI input 1, as i went to connect the box there was a loud POP! and bright sparks flew. my heart was at 100mph, i had no idea to what the hell just happened. When i turned on the tv it came on fine, but my PS3 was not, it was not displaying a picture. i took it back to the store, got me a 2nd one, this time i made sure nothing was connected to the wall, or so i thought, i had connected my new PS3 to the HDMI input in the back of the tv, input 1, it came on just fine, then i disconnected everything, i had unplugged my multi outlet surge Protector plug from the wall, my tv and PS3 was connected to it, so neither one had electricity running in them, but my box was connected directly to the wall, but was not turned on. This time i connected everything from the back of the tv first, i had component cables this time for my cable box and the HDMI for my PS3. As i went to connect my cables to the box, i had the cables on my hand then i grabbed the box and got a pretty strong shock that ran through my elbows, when i let go the box, it stopped, i had a bad feeling about it, so i disconnected the HDMI cable from the back of the PS3, and continued on to connect the Component cables, and before i could get one component plug fully in POP! and sparks. i was confused, nothing was connected to the outlet but the box, so i went and disconnected the HDMI plug from the tv and used the original PS3 plug which is a av cable (yellow,white,red) and when i went to connect it to the side of the tv, POP!!! again! and i noticed that the only thing connected was the component cables from the tv to the box. So at this point im guessing ok its the cable box that is the problem, so i completely disconnected it from the tv and outlet, and just connected the cable line straight to the tv, turned it on, and came on fine. Yes i had to again go to the store a day later and get a 3rd PS3. When i got home i did not dare to Connect it, so the next day i did, nothing was plugged into the outlet, i bought a new HDMI cable and connect it to the tv, and then to the PS3 nothing happened, i plug the TVS power cable to the power surge and the PS3, everything fine so far, then as i went to connect it to the wall, POP! and the circuit breakers turned off. so at this point i dont know wat is the problem. My PS3 is fine. i grabbed my Extension cord, heavy duty one, and connected the power surge to it, and plugged the Extension plug to a different outlet in the room. i currently have my PS3 and tv working fine, so today i bought this tester that lets u know if ur outlets r connected properly. and the code i got was the open ground code. could this be the problem?

My rats racing round cage, why?

Hello folks. Recently one of my pet rats Milky has started taking mad episodes of bolting round his cage for no apparently reason. We thought it might have been to do with his cage mate but yesterday Milky had to have a small operation and so needed to be seperated to recover and he took an episode in the evening. Its very hard to get him to stop and we have to shout and bang the cage to try distract him to stop. Hes broken some more nails and they were bleeding and took him ages, longer than normal, to recover from this one. Im really worried it might be seizures or something along that lines. My other rat did it once when i had the hoover on but that that never bothered Milky but hes started doing it for no reason that we can see. Naturally i spoke to my vet about this and she gave him a health check and said his heart n lungs were all ok and it might just be a behavioural thing. If anyone can offer any help,advice,information id be emensly grateful. Thanks for now

Sister's dogs problem?

My sister has 3 dogs. 2 are out back in a pen. One is in a cage and is rarely let out. Only for toilet. The other day I was babysitting the kids. Looked outside and decided to give the dogs some water. There bowl is a huge old saucepan. I filled it up. But before I even had the chance to fill it all up. The larger dog drank it like he hasnt had a drink in days. The smaller dog had a little. I gave all dogs water. They dont even let them out for walks. Also their pen roof is clear plastic. Its been very hot lately. I have dogs and don't do that. I have one outside who has water all day. Really don't know what to do

met a guy in my college club who I thought had a mutual attraction from the start, but he ended up asking my friend out who lead him on. I think everything is pretty much right on but the NL west is a toss up this year, Rockies had a great year last season and didnt really make any improvements this offseason. Great offense, (if Helton can perform like last season, which for some reason i doubt) solid defense, However i think they will miss Jason Marquis a lot more than they expect. dodgers didnt do much besides add a couple bench options, but lost a few semi solid players like Randy wolf and Orlando Hudson & juan pierre. Manny is OBVIOUSLY not the same without the juice. The Padres....no way in hell. D backs if they have a healthy brandon webb, will have a great bullpen (webb, Haren, Jacskon & Petit) and with the addition of Laroche could be a major threat. Giants are really going to need Huff & Derosa to make an impact, with the return of Uribe and Molina they look from the outside to have a better offense than last season. Question about my new track shoes...?

No you Should not wear your spikes during practice they are made to run in and get them off your feet. they will cause you to get shin splints which are very painful just get some running shoes and keep those spikes for meets or late season. i say late season because by then the training isnt as lengthy and you can wear them. taking the spikes out will not help thats not the problem the problem is the support it gives your feet and how much strain will it cause to your shin

Days of our lives, who else loves it that Days writers are actually bringing up past events?

For a long time it seemed to me like the current writers had no clue of the history of some characters and it seemed like the characters didn't have a past by how the writers wrote them but Kate bringing up Curtis Reed and how he kept her from her children and EJ bringing up how Kate almost let Sami die by lethal injection shocked me that the writers even knew about that and i think i remember Kate bringing up about when Vivian drugged that pilot that caused Kate's plane to crash years ago. I know they brought up Vivian burring Carly alive but that seems to be the only thing they talk about because it was a memorable storyline but she has done plenty of other things that they never mention like poisoning Caroline to frame Carly. I love it when the writers bring up past events though because it makes the show look more realistic and it reminds ,us, the audience of the history of the show and how the characters have grown and i hope they keep it up.
